Radio report: SpaceX for private investors?
Börsenradio | Uwe Eilers (Frankfurter Vermögen) in conversation with Peter Heinrich about necessary AI investments and the growing scepticism surrounding the tech hype.
Eilers warns of an AI bubble and draws parallels with dot-com and hydrogen. He says current valuations are completely overblown. The tech giants’ billion-euro investments are unlikely to pay for themselves. Only a few providers will ultimately prevail.
Macroeconomically, energy and transport costs are driving inflation. Interest rates are therefore likely to remain high for longer. Europe is also suffering from bureaucracy and weak investment incentives.
The expert’s recommendation: patience. When it comes to tech stocks and SpaceX shares, investors should wait for significant pullbacks. For companies, AI remains indispensable as a tool for accelerating processes, but: it does not replace people.
